We are always looking for bright, highly motivated nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse educators, or other clinicians to join our team in part-time consulting roles, to help us develop order sets in these areas:

  • Adult respirology (RRT)
  • Hematology NP (adult and pediatric)
  • Renal (adult and pediatric)
  • Surgery: ENT, orthopedics
  • Pediatric mental health
  • Pediatric and Neonatal
  • Pediatric ENT
  • Complex Continuing Care
  • Long Term Care
  • Chronic disease management
  • CCAC/Home care
  • Medicine
  • Primary medicine
  • Rural care
  • Mental Health
  • Maternal child health

Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Work with our team on updating and developing order sets, clinical protocols, and other supporting documents (e.g. pathways, guidelines) to ensure inclusion of:
    • best practices
    • quality assurance recommendations
    • accreditation standards
    • ISMP recommendations
  • Researching the literature to support the documents
  • This position can be filled by qualified consultants who choose to work remotely

Required Qualifications:

  • 10 years’ experience in a hospital patient care setting or 5+ years experience as a clinician (RN, NP, MD, etc) in a community health care setting
  • Have practice knowledge of patient flow processes through ER admission, transfer and discharge, and/or the community
  • (For community based) Have oractice knowledge or pateint flow/coordinated- care processes for high-needs patients
